40' x 70'
We use our indoor arena for more than just riding. Along with training our horses, we also hold HorsEmpowerment® sessions and lunge lessons on a regular basis.
There are two viewing areas: one at the entrance to the arena and also one from the second floor Seminar Room.
Our portable round pen can be used for teaching both horses and humans.
Classroom & Main Entry Foyer
This is the main entrance to the interior of the barn. It is used as a gathering place and as an educational space during workshops. The store, food/beverage station, and first floor restroom is located off this area.
Our Seminar Room is often used as a classroom setting, complete with teaching tools such as an overhead projector, a whiteboard, and educational posters.
It is also where lessons on Harmony, our 4HF Schoolmaster mechanical horse, take place. Harmony is great at teaching riders about their strengths and weaknesses in the saddle, and for practicing Body Discipline.
The second floor bathroom and a beverage station are located between this room and the Studio.
Our Studio is designed for Body Discipline and also for other exercises, such as Feldenkrais. The Studio is equipped with mirrors, wall-mounted ballet bars, rubber flooring, and various exercise equipment.
The Welcome Room is a good place to gather prior to receiving a treatment from one of our Life Enhancement Center team members. Some treatments and consultations also take place in this room.
The Healing Room is where many of our Life Enhancement Center services take place. Combined with the Welcome Room, these rooms are ideal spaces for promoting health and wellness.
My Old Kentucky Home...
Lexington is the “Horse Capital of the World” and has a varied calendar of equine related events which take place through the year.
The Kentucky Horse Park is only 7 minutes from our farm. They have a world class facility which houses equine museums and hosts many shows and clinics including the Rolex Three Day Event at the end of April. Most notably, the KHP hosted the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010.
Of course the Blue Grass is famous for thoroughbred breeding and racing. There are a number of different tours available which include visiting famous farms such as Calumet Farm and the beautiful Keeneland racetrack. The first weekend in May is Kentucky Derby day at Churchill Downs, in Louisville.
Kentucky is also famous for its lakes and state parks – many which included lodging facilities, fishing, nature trails and golf courses. Over 80 million tourists visit Kentucky each year.
